Goodbye to Berlin: A Cabaret
based on the book by Christopher Ishwood and the musicals by Kander & Ebb — Student Theatre at Glasgow, 2009
in here, life is beautiful. the girls are beautiful. even the orchestra is beautiful
Goodbye to Berlin: A Cabaret was a radical adaptation and deconstruction of Christopher Isherwood's book and the plays, movies and musicals it inspired.
Telling a story cobbled together from half a century of various versions of the tale, the production was performed by a small group of actor-musicians in an intimate low-ceilinged studio space masquerading as an illicit club.
